| Born, 1959, in Marostica, Vicenza (Italy). Lives and works in Asiago (Italy). In 1997 he made the first artwork in Europe as a videogame: ITALIANI BRAVA GENTE. He takes care, as a teacher and as an artist, of the interface between contemporary art and videogames, seeing in videogames a possible expressive way for the future. Riello holds class about this matter at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Milan), and at Domus Academy (Milan). Visiting professor also at Ruskin School of Arts (Oxford University), University of Reading (Fine Arts Department) and Derby School of Art and Design (Derby University). |
